Called The Pond because once the lock down hits at turn two or three the waters become perfectly calm, with a whole lot of nothing going on.
Counter early, stay alive with Energy Field, then Isochron Scepter Orim's Chant every upkeep. Plop down the Black Vise, and let your opponent stew. And boy, they will stew.
PS. It's a Black Vise, not a Viseling. For some reason the Deck Builder insists the Vise is not legal. Wotc says it is so I'm going to go with that.
