DESCRIPTION
several people at my local game shop have been running a bant ally wave deck. playing against them got me to thinking about allies again.
now when allies first came out in zendikar, i fell in love at first sight. for the next 5 weeks i ran a bant colored ally mill deck that could just do sick things. once in play testing i milled over 1,400 cards and gained over 1,200 life...on turn five. however in real play, it just rolled over to the same things that kill the newer genesis wave versions of allies. mass removal, and counter just completely shut the deck down. with the agro ally wave deck that my friends are running, even if genesis wave resolves, they normally have to untap on thier next turn to be a real threat.
so i set out to build a deck that
1: helps protect you board pre-wave with mimic vat saving key creatures(mostly harabaz druid or sea gate loremaster) or negate to stop doj or consume the meek.
2: protects your wave resolving through autumns veil and negate.
3: either ends the game when wave resolves, or prevents opponent from board wiping you before you untap through cards like hagra diabolist,(dead on arrival) and bala ged thief(not a damn thing left in hand to play next turn.)
had one slot open, and decided to stick one emrakul in due to the insane amounts of mana two harabaz druids can make.
