On BudgetEDH we build fun and optimized commander decks with a pre-set budget in mind. In this week's episode, we build a $100 budget Chatterfang, Squirrel General deck from the Magic the Gathering new set Modern Horizons 2. Chatterfang is a Legendary Squirrel that has the ability to double up all of your tokens created, by creating a squirrel with each token that you generate. This is a powerful ability that lends well to several combos, one of which is in our deck. In addition, Chatterfang also has the ability to sacrifice squirrels to either pump or kill creatures on the battlefield. Due to this, we went with an aristocrats theme for this Chatterfang deck because of the synergy that Chatterfang has with it's built-in sacrifice outlet and token generation. We can also win the game through combat as well by amassing a ton of squirrels and pumping them up to swing out for lethal.
