VERY shortly on the key stuff:
Mox diamond: enables first turn werebear, mongrel, or looter.
Werebear: mana early, beats later. Great.
Merfolk looter: great for threshold, great with arrogant wurm.
You might frown at the mana base right now, but it works. Try it.
(Treva's ruins and city of traitors is a neat little trick I couldn't help but add.)
P.S. The sideboard was just a quick scribble and needs finishing. Any suggestions are welcome.
