You gain 1 life, because you gain 1 life, you deal 1 damage to target opponent, because an opponent lost 1 life, you gain 1 life. . .You now win the game. You're able to win without this combo. There are a few ways since our mana pool grows very large very quickly. Imagine you draw nothing but mana ramp cards and turn 3 you pour 15 mana into X of Exsanguinate (it is possible i did the math).
