this deck is built to get pyromancer ascension off with better function and survivability than straight mono red burn. black was the most ideal pick as its b r combo cards are most ideal for keeping some control in (tutors, discards) while keeping the general theme of the deck still focused towards twin tricasting burns with pyro ascension
