DESCRIPTION
suggestions comment welcome -- please rate the deck not the price, thanks.|||||| sorry it's taken so long for me to get around to the description... raven guild master is obvious use in conjunction with writ. the writ is awesome since you can forecast it on something like the thief and then actually play it on the raven. then it's a matter of mirrorweaving for an easy 20 cards removed. a whispersilk cloak can be used on a master or a thief as it makes them both so much more efficient. counterspells should be obvious. |||||major enemy of the deck would be something like magus of the moat, counter them and forget they exist by using mirrorweave. mirrorweave is expensive enough as it is, i just couldn't justify a deepchannel due to his cost. plus mirrorweave can help sidestep someone like magus of the moat. besides you can just cast mirrorweave any time before your upkeep turning everyone into raven's and then forecast writs dring your upkeep, cast writ's before during combat, and liklihood... call it a day.-----------------------------------------------------------------edits: thanks to robbit the hobbit for his input. i decided on the panorama's for now, the trade being that the onslaught lands polluted delta and flooded strand both require the pay of 1 life each in order to get the land in play untapped, whereas the panoramas give a tapped land, without the nip at your lifepoints. and they at least give you a mana, colorless it may be, but the scourge lands do not, additionally... 4 panoramas are 1 20th the monetary cost. i was trying to keep that down as well. i had put the tendrils to lower the damage coming from the table, but mothdust plays a part in conjunction with mirrorweave to take fatties down to 1 1s that hurt far less than in their original form, not to mention if you do so, and echoing truth could prove to be a reset button of sorts since no creature here costs more than 3 whereas the opponents are not likely to repopulate the table as quickly. the mothdust also benefits from reejerey's ability and vice versa for the merrow's tap untap trigger, (think thief at this point.) here's the part where my initial idea for this deck differes from most mill decks. the sole point here was not just to take cards from library to graveyard, but remove them from game, thereby eliminating any 'graveyard' abilities such as flashback, retrace, unearth, etc... maybe i should put in a tormod's crypt or two???
