i found these two combinations useful when using this deck:
1. keeping a sanctum gargoyle in your hand to return any artifacts from your graveyard - and there are a lot of artifacts in this deck. if nothing else, you can continue to cycle them into play if you always have one in play and one in your hand...a nice 2 3 flying.
2. using scuttlemutts second ability. this comes in handy when you have demons herald but not the right color creatures in play to sacrifice in order to bring out prince of thralls.
