DESCRIPTION
based on conrad kolos latest doran list but with a few adaptations made after playing with some friends, we liked gaddock teeg, but rarely wanted more then one, and in some matchups you really dont want him at all, so we went from 3 to 2 and put in an extra loam lion to give the deck some more early game gass. 7 discard spells turned out to be a little bit too many since most of the time we wanted to spend our mana on casting creatures and threats, so we cut the two inquisition and added even more creatures in the form of dauntless escort, maybe the escorts are unnecessary, but we found that in control matchups they do more when they hit the board then the discard does, especially since the inquisitions cannot take out the big control spells like: consume the meek & other wrath effects, ultimatums, command, planeswalkers. the escorts put the pressure on a control deck of needing mass removal + other removal at the same time and since they play well with the wilt-leaf liege they will often be out of lightning bolt range. we also added one more sejiri steppe instead of the changeling. we often found that people would bait out the steppe if we have knight of the reliquary out, before unloading their real removal, the second steppe prevented that and it upped our land count in the deck, making us a bit less prone to being mana screw.
about the sideboard: some things are pretty standard, the back to nature is against spectral omen, guttural response against any counter deck, use them to push threats through, the gust is against tempered steel decks and the behemoth sledge is mainly against burn decks, since you tend to take a lot of damage of your own, gaddock teeg especially good against 4cc
