this is close to an actual deck i have constructed off of off-hand cards (pretty much don't have much from the side-board, and 2 logic knots have been replaced with spellbursts). the idea is to hold them off, classic control style, until your stronghold overseers finish them off. being flying and shadow makes it very difficult to block them, and their ability can even function defensively if need be. the augur of skulls and lost hours helps to ensure that your opponent can't pull huge tricks on you. Also, as you go through your counter-spells and creature-kills, finally, teferi akroma (insane legendary creature) holding you back? simply copy them with vesuvan shapeshifter and all your problems are over! in a heartbeat they're also extra overseers - or a defensive counter to any massive shivan wumpus' your opponent dares to throw down.
