DESCRIPTION
i always liked shivan wurm, because the idea of getting a 7 7 trampler on turn 3 thanks the mana-dorks. thats a pretty brutal thing to face down. but it would be even better if i could turn his drawback into a benefit. in comes cards with cool enters or leaves the battlefield abilities like elvish visionary and cards with fading vanishing that need saving, like blastoderm. or both, in the case of the keldon marauders. add fires of yavimaya to get the most bang for your buck, and i think weve got a deck!
my biggest issue is figuring out what to play in the 3-4 slots.
this deck is strictly casual, and subject to change (also means im not spending big bucks on anything). my metas kinda odd, running a graveyard based deck, burn decks, discard decks, combo decks, and mill decks. im the primary pilot of dedicated aggro decks in our group, so im not on the other end of them very often. a number of decks are extremely creature-light, which is why the flametongue kavu isnt maindecked.
the way the deck works is to power out my creatures with the mana dorks, reusing some of said creatures cips along the way, and saving my marauders and blastoderms while theyre at it. since im replaying a bunch of my dudes, lets get the most milage out of them and their time counters via fires.
coolest interaction:
shivan wurm horned kavu + mwonvuli beast tracker = stacking the wurms
in one goldfish test i got the following: t1 - forest, mana-dork, t2 - mountain, marauders, mana-dork #2, t3 - swing with the marauders, and then save them with the wurm.
got any suggestions? i like this deck because of the cool interactions, not because its necessarily a winner. if you have an idea that would streamline the deck, but keep its character, please let me know! (please try to keep cards $1 if possible)
