to go over some card choices first is obvious my choice to run sun titans. in my local meta and at larger tournaments ive found that sun titan was always the card i wanted to draw. he can combo with ghost quarter to machine gun down there lands or bring back anything from a banishing light too an emeria, the sky ruin. i was originally running one wurmcoil engine and one sword of light and shadow in these slots, but the raw power of sun titan can not be denied. worst case scenario once he resolves is he comes down brings something and bites the dust. in that scenario i still get back my best card from the graveyard. i know im spending a lot of time going over sun titan, but i see that not a lot of people are playing him so i want to emphasis how strong he has been for me. with cavern of souls in the deck sometimes he becomes unable to be countered (although usually i pick human or bird) if you do decide to play the sun titan version i would highly recommend playing 2 weathered wayfarer and utility lands like bojuka bog and cavern of souls. elspeth, knight errant got put in over one banishing light as a meta game call for another threat against midrange and control. one other point id like to make is if one of our unwinnable matchups is tron then weathered wayfarer becomes much more important. especially with ugin, the spirit dragon being put in the decks our best strategy against them is to tutor up 4 ghost quarters. i threw linvala, keeper of silence in the sideboard to bring in against midrange players to trump [ card], one blind obedience may be used as well to help against twin and to have an alternative win con against control. i was running disenchant, stony silence, and eidolon of rhetoric in the board for a long time, but now that the meta has adapted and tron isnt as weak too stony silence with ugin i needed to adapt a little bit.
