DESCRIPTION
This is a Selesnya colored beatstick deck. It uses smaller defenders (Axebane Guardian) and sorceries to ramp mana to get big creatures and run over your opponents with trample and other mechanics. This deck has almost no flyers, so you might want to get Abzan Falconer out fast or wait for Sandwurm Convergence. If you are in a pinch, put down Crashing Drawbridge then Novablast Wurm the next turn to wipe the board. It has good life-gain, mostly related to power and/or toughness, so build up your creatures quickly and overwhelm your opponents. This deck is named after Hercules's Second Task (to defeat the Lernean hydra).
