DESCRIPTION
This deck is an updated version of my original Realm Razer Control deck that really only tried to get ahead on board by sticking 1 threat and then using Realm Razer to make sure you stay ahead. In this version, we are focusing on the landfall triggers you get from Realm Razer leaving the field. We do this by using Courser of Kruphix to gain life and Architect of the Untamed to make 6/6's. In this version of the deck, we aren't trying to stick 1 unbeatable threat to win, but rather trying to grind out the long game where we have resources and they don't. Huntmaster is amazing in stalemate positions as it shoots down their creatures and pressures their life total. Thragtusk is there just to be a big blocking body for problem creatures while also keeping our life total high. The Restoration Angels provide insane value with Realm Razer, as you are able to constantly take every land your opponent manages to get out in the meantime. It is also an ok combo with Thragtusk.
The sideboard is a bunch of random stuff for now. Silence was there in the previous list to cast immediately before playing Realm Razer to prevent them from countering it or killing it immediately. I'm not sure if we need need Worship or Ancient Grudges, but its worth testing out. Rest in Peace is pretty good in general, and Beast Within is the most well thought out card in this version of the list, since we just destroy their lands before, or even after, casting Realm Razer. We do also have a Field of Ruin and Path to Exile plan in the main to run out their basics, so Beast Within is good for destroying the few basics they have left.
