Flagship Raiders - Dwarves, Axes & Chisels

Hi I'm Matcho, I specialize in building fun, thematic, affordable and fair decks for Pioneer that are intended to showcase interesting designs that are actually fun to play. This deck is all about Dwarves from Kaldheim and Kaladesh, with a little excursion into Zendikar. Some genius designer has secretly been weaving some wonderful synergies to allow for a Pioneer archetype that combines Auras, Equipment and Vehicles into one Boros-colored midrange Dwarf deck that's stuffed to the brim with fun and flavorful interactions. Your goal is to build up a board to start stacking synergies to generate tokens and mana, tutor and recycle resources to create efficient engines to load your troops up with Runes and Halvar's Sword and send them in under Halvar's supervision. Vehicles let you accelerate your power on the board and taps your Dwarves, and Skysovereign is a wonderful top-end for Magda to tutor. Load it up with Rune of Speed if you want and maybe fling it at the opponent with Kazuul's Fury to finish things off. Technically this is a four-color deck, but between play sets of Runeforge Champions, Cultivator's Caravan and Holdout Settlement (both of which double as instant-speed tapping enablers) and Magda's Treasures you'll have no problem with your mana base. The Sideboard is open for your local meta's needs, but do consider keeping the Runes of Sustenance in if you're up against highly aggressive and/or burn strategies. Restoration Specialist is potentially interesting if you're up against a lot of removal but this deck doesn't seem to generally run out of resources. Good luck, have fun!
