This mid-strenght deck is a fine tuned version of Ben Bleiweiss' building on a budget in magicthegathering.com. My personal playtesting resulted in a good matchup against u b control by sideboarding 1 cancel, 2 word of seizing and 2 paradox haze for 4 pyroclasm and 1 grinning ignus. Against Slivers Deck, just board in 2 plague slivers for 2 grinning ignus. the strenght of this deck is the presence of good counterspells plus grinning ignus plus trons for a huge conflagrate and or invoke the firemind. Only problem with this deck is against super fast aggro, though not unwinnable, as it can withstand white weenie and red deck wins as per my personal experience. Give this budget deck a try and comment about it. I would like to give thanks to Ben Bleiweiss for the very good inspiration for this deck.
