DESCRIPTION
The deck lacks the popular Aether Vial. It is tuned to beat Affinity, more certainly after sideboarding. The deck virtually ignores Goblin Bidding, especially Goblin Sharpshooter, so don't play this if your local metagame has lots of GB, which mine doesn't. A lesser version of this won the first Darksteel T2 tourney at our store. If you insist on handling GB, try Steely Resolve, but remember it shuts down half the abilities of your Elves. Try splashing blue to achieve the Zur's Weirding + Wellwisher lock, or try splashing red for your own Sharpshooters or Pyrite Spellbombs, or try splashing White for Worships or Arrests. None are perfect solutions, and all dilute the theme of the deck, since they are reactive in a proactive design, so be careful. Exalted Angel is also a problem. In the board, Bridge and Spider are for Control, Oxidize and Zealots for Affinity. Zealots are nice vs Slide as well. :-)
