nephalia drownyad has always been a favorite card of mine, while bant has always been my favorite color combo. i was trying to think of different ways to make this combo work without really hindering my bang deck and i think i finally came up with the deck. this deck has many win-cons right off the bat. there are now several ways to remove threat since nephalia is in this deck. i can simply azorius charm a threat and mill it, or i can azorius charm and counter the threat. the snap casters are great in the deck since i have so many options to choose from. the fact that resto angel literally interacts with every creature in this deck, really makes her quite good. i know a lot of decks call for 4 sphinxs revs but i honestly am against it. i would much rather run three and not get stuck with two in my hand early game. if you sphinxs rev for any less than 3 it is a waste in my opinion. plus, the fact that i have 3 snapcasters makes snapping back a sphinx no problem, and with 25 land in this deck the extra two to cast snapcaster does not hurt me at all. i love the sideboard for this deck. honestly believe it is the strongest sideboard i could have came up with. the two garruks, dispels and negates are key in a mirror control match. i may even board in the dentition spheres if i need to. sometimes i even find myself brining in a psychic spiral as a another win-con. the memorys journeys are sooooo helpful against any reanimate deck, plus with the flash back it is like i have 6 spot removal graveyard spells. these cards even help against esper control decks if something i need is ever milled. i also find myself brining in negates against reanimate decks as well. i bring in the fogs and supreme verdict against aggro decks. i dont find myself having too much trouble with aggro decks thanks to the main board verdicts and the spot removal. the main board centaur healers really help stall out aggro decks as well. if you guys have any suggestions feel free to post below. i really enjoy playing this deck and i plan on playing for the next couple weeks at fnm.
