its a meta game deck designed against aggro decks like girl scouts and white weenie gear. play testing shows an excellent result as well against ramp as it puts them on a fast clock. necrotic ooze has an excellent relationship with masticore and the other creatures in the deck so that sacrificing them to sarkhan the mad, or after a wrath you can still maximize their use post mortem.
