well, thanks for viewing my deck. I wanted to abuse fauna shaman as much as possible, however I wanted to build a deck that would be competitive after shards rotated out. here are my thoughts of the cards. Ob nixilis, the fallen – tutor, play, crack lands, summon swing with titan. good direct damage. Lotus cobra – helps fix the mana, lack of black blue. could replace with birds. Vampire hexmage- tutor out vs walkers rdw (vs their low dmg creatures. Bloodghast- works well with fauna, immune to most creature removal. Abyssal persecutor- I can easily get him out turn 3 and with the tutor I only need 1 of him. Gatekeeper of malakir – remove abyssal, control ect. Fauna shaman – meat and potatoes of my deck. able to tutor out what i need. Grave titan- very good beater vs slower decks, provides blockers and offensive. Primeval titan- land ramp, lets me get around mana leak easily. Momentous fall – draw engine, destroys abyssal, prevents control abuse. Duress – stops path, doj, terminate, ect Smother – choose over doom blade because doom blade is a dead draw vs jund most of the time. Cultivate – mana ramp, fixes colors, procs landfall. sideboard Doom blade – when not fighting vs jund Autumns veil – vs control decks with counters, black decks Malakir bloodwitch – pro white vs path, stall bsa, gid Gaea’s revenge – lovely vs control decks Obstinate baloth – good vs jund, discard decks Consuming vapors- control, kills off abyssal.
