For control match-ups overwhelming denial is a swift answer to an opponents counter-spell or to counter something you want to stay dead. Lost Legacy can hit most non-artifact combos or troublesome spells like Scatter or Glimmer in the mirror. To improve the deck, there isn't much but taking out maybe the siphoners and adding Torrential Gearhulks.
