niv-mizzet and jace 4.0 are excellent from what ive seen so far. my only problem that i currently have with jace is whether i should make him a 4-of or keep him at 2.
goblin and snap work very well together. nearly every instant or sorcery in the deck is affected by goblins ability allowing even more utility out of snap.
izzet staticaster is really what the deck tries to center around. being able to flash in a blocker for diregraf ghoul and then ping a gravecrawler is amazing. when in multiples, the ability is just becomes a semi whipflare.
pillar mizzium and flames all act as my burn package. pillar and mizzium are self explanatory. as for flames, it provides me with a versatile removal package that couples well with the staticaster.
devastation tide and cyclonic rift give me some added tempo swing as well as answers to angel tokens.
desperate ravings and think twice act as my draw package. they get even better with goblin in play.
as far as lands are concerned, i didnt include steam vents mostly due to availability, but the guild gate has been doing just fine for me.
sideboard consists of control mirror package in more counterspells and jace memory adept. i threw in curse of echoes for miracle match ups, being able to copy their entreat the angels seems pretty good but im not sure what other uses it has beyond that. electrickery and the extra 2 copies of goblin are in there for more aggressive match ups, giving me more burn and more bodies.
