DESCRIPTION
the basic strategy of this deck is to lay evasive beaters and protect them with your control cards. also, use these control cards to slow down your opponent since you are going to be racing him. your deck should really not be blocking at all.
ponder sets up your draws and finds creatures, counters, etc.
cloak and dagger equips on all of the creatures in this deck as they are all rogues, gives them shroud, and makes them hit a bit harder.
pestermite pulls double duty here to both slow your opponents development by tapping your opponent's lands or creatures and functions as an offensive or defensive body.
infiltrator il-kor is your big beat stick. suspending him on turn 2 and playing cloak of daggers on turn 3 means he comes in as a 5 1 creature with shroud on turn 4. this lets you kill your opponent on turn 7 with just one creature.
looter il-kor serves as a card filtering system, letting you dump the useless lands or other cards that you draw to find better cards.
dewdrop spy serves as pestermite #5 and #6. while not as good, it does have flash, letting you leave your mana open for counters.
boomerang slows your opponents down by one turn.
moonglave extract serves as that extra reach or removal that this kind of deck desperately needs.
negate and faerie trickery are your all purpose counters. negate is to stop any and all removal spells. faerie trickery is to stop cards with flashback, such as strangling soot, or some creatures that are simply put, too difficult to deal with.
quicksand serves as creature removal as this deck has none with the exception of moonglave extract.
academy ruins reoccurs your moonglave extract or cloak and dagger in case you need to bring back either.
