DESCRIPTION
in theory, this deck runs rather aggro-controlish, hoping for a couple land drops, rampant growth, and dropping the baloth on turn 3. at this point, turn 4 the goal is to stabilize vs. early hard rushing decks with the bounce spells. then it's all about the control. i have found that against aggro decks, baloth is the mvp (obviously), and pulse of the tangle coming in a close second. a 3cc 4 life gain in 3 3 form that almost always ends up back in my hand is so good.
i had some difficulty in finding a good card for draw (besides the hystrodon, which usually only works well against control). i ended up going with inspiration for the instant speed it provides, even though concentrate would have netted me an extra card, i don't like the fact that it prohibits casting of a counter in the crucial midgame. also, thirst for knowledge is crap in this deck as basically, without the ability to discard an artifact, i'd be trading tfk for the priviledge of digging for 3 and keeping 1, netting me 0 advantage.
anyhow, so far, i'm still proxy-testing this as i'm still short a couple rewinds, (i'd love to have some last word), and still need 2 pulses.
