DESCRIPTION
Mindlock + Maralen: Players lose 3 life per turn and can no longer refill their hands.
The gameplan:
Aggro rogues. The point is to get out as many creatures as you can to gain early board position, then play Mindlock and Maralen to stop your opponent in his tracks. This way, you're superior board position goes unmatched and you take the game.
Rogue discard effects help to rid your opponent of cards before and during the lock, further hampering their ability to regain position. Vedalken Mastermind and Turn to Mist act to remove Maralen from the game for a turn, saving you 3 life and allowing for a draw, before replaying Maralen and continuing the lock.
The Sideboard: The deck has the option of going to more of a faerie-control build if need be. Spellstutter and an extra Familiar's Ruse can be useful in protecting Maralen and Mindlock if need be.
