Lich Sustain

*for sideboard see bottom My fav deck so far playing standard, and maybe 75-100 matches played with it. Creature kill deck with strong late game and fun all round play. More casual but I still prefer to play it in a best of 3. You may think that the Amulets and the Immortal Sun are unnecessary, but they synergize well with the liches and late game. Arguel's Blood Fast snowballs this deck consistently. Midnight reaper was a more recent addition as it a great early answer to creature pressure and has a really nice activate. I prefer 3 instead of 2 and the impact is noticeable. Used to have 2x Profane Procession in place of Journey to Eternity. The added mild sustain in this deck is really great and necessary. Lots of comeback potential with reanimates and lich mastery + life gain. ***Sideboard*** 15x Rat Colony. (15x of one creature card didn't register on the site, so swapped with plains) This deck is hard countered by any counterspell deck. For this reason, I include 15 Rat Colony and sub them in for most spells except creatures and try to be aggressive in game 2. Works 50% of the time.
