the basic idea of the deck is to remove all the threats before they even get a chance to use them. seems pretty straight forward to me, really. if something does manage to make it to the battlefield, they will either be up against a gftt or an obliterator. the apostles blessing are in the side for the occasions when they feel the need to bounce with jace. And Damnation + Sad Sac as a back-up is nice too. Also of note, the Exarch can pull lands from their hand too. Nobody seemed to notice this at my store for some reason in the sealed.
