DESCRIPTION
the concept of this deck is simple, creature advantage and lots of it! theres strength in numbers and thats what this deck relies on. most weenie decks focus on the early game, doing as much damage as possible as quickly as possible and hoping the game doesnt run too long.
this deck on the other hand plans for the game to run 8 turns or more, using howling mine and font of mythos to keep you drawing enough cards to put several creatures on the board each turn. then before you know it your side of the table is overflowing with more creatures than your opponent could ever possibly have enough removal spells, counter spells, or blockers to deal with. sure, the opponent will benefit from the howling mine and font of mythos as well, but chances are their mana curve is such that theyll only be able to drop 1 or 2 creatures each turn mid to late game where as youll be dropping at least 3 or 4 creatures (if not more) every turn.
its not about having the best creatures, its about having an overwhelming number of efficient attackers and buffing techniques for 1 (and occasionally 2) mana a pop. this deck could benefit from some arid mesa and scalding tarn, but for those on a budget the list displayed here is fetch land free.
