DESCRIPTION

Ajani and Nissa mixed. Designed to not have any cards that will not survive the next rotation (Kaladesh and Aether Revolt at the moment are the only two sets released that will continue through the rotation.) As for the Sideboard, it includes cards from the sets that will be leaving in the next rotation AND cards from the Aether or Kaladesh that may be better choices than what I decided for the main deck. Always nice to experiment. The main deal with this deck is that there are plenty of ways to buff your creatures to make them unbeatable in combat. Nissa, Vital Force and Ajani, Valiant Protector work extremely well together. Nissa untaps a land to create a monster and another usable land with 5/5. Ajani then can place two +1/+1 counters on that creature. If he gets to 11 points, he can place as many +1/+1 counters to that creature as he wants up to your remaining health (Which may still be maxed if you get good enough draws) AND gives that creature trample. You can easily push for an instant game with this effect. If the sideboard wasn't stuck to 15 cards, I would put 4 canopy vista, 4 evolving wilds, 3 tireless tracker, and 4 fortified village. Additionally, the sideboard contains Voice of Zendikar and Ajani Unyielding. Adding these to the deck would mainly just be personal preference. Just remember that you can only have 1 of each hero on the field. Specifically, you can only have Ajani Unyielding on the field or Ajani, Valiant Protector, same with the Nissa cards. So experiment with whichever Nissa and Ajani you like better. Keep in mind that Voice of Zendikar will be rotated out in the next rotation though. Same with Canopy Vista, Fortified Village, Evolving Wilds, Tireless Tracker, and Sylvan Advocate. So plan accordingly if you want to use those cards in Standard. Aether Hub is a great land card, especially if you can get out Thriving Rhino or Servant of the Conduit early. Also even if you do not have energy, it still counts as a general mana. So save the energy for an important occasion! (Unless you got a ton of energy early on.) Lastly, feel free to let me know what you think! If there are any ways to improve the deck, please let me know, I am new to the game.
