ok...i have done a kindof major re-vamp to the deck. after some considerable playtesting...my new major addition to the deck is...bottled cloister! believe it or not this gives me considerable card advantage and protects (partially) from that pesky smallpox! also it stops hyppie from annoying the hell out of me (which had been a problem until now). i bumped up the slagheaps to three, they have more usefulness than i first realized... one demonfire in the main deck takes more of the pressure off of actually having to combo for the win. i increased the lotus blooms back to four. (never should have dropped two to the sideboard, but at the time it was necessary. the locket of yesterdays have proven to be golden for the deck, especially when you get persecuted on turn three (x_x). the best thing about locket is that it increases the mana you get out of multiple seething songs... now for the strangest change...i took out the hunted dragons for rakdos pit dragon. now you might say...doesn't that decrease the odds of you winning with the combo? well, after extensive testing...no. in fact my winning percentage greatly increased with the removal of the hunted dragons. turns out that this deck wins more often than not, without ever playing the dragonstorm combo. (i actually thought that was kind of funny...but the reason it does is the fact that i try to chain browbeat with reiterate. that way every time i play browbeat it gets copied...forcing them to take a lot more damage or let me draw. (usually they will take 5 from one and let me draw for the other, which works out well for me.) also, don't forget...if you have enough mana to hard cast seething song and reiterate simultaneously, you have better odds of your combo going off. as far as the sideboard goes, i wanted to run another demonfire to increase the amount of mass-damage i can do. the sulfurous blasts act as mini wrath of gods...flashfires hels control solarpox and snow white. boiling seas helps control solarpox, conter control, and
