just wanna get some advice on how to further improve my deck. basic strategy is to hold up the oppositions attacks in early game w creature removals (i.e, l. bolt. b. lightning, terminate) and wait till at least 6 lands are on play to play the fatties. sprouting thrinax proves to delay the game a bit more until enough lands are on play. the ramp and harrow helps to bring out lands and on deck thinning. the deck is fun to play and is really intimidating. with good early top decks, opposition player finds it hard to deal creature damage early on and by the time the fatties can be played, their having big time trouble dealing with them, with their big damage and thoughness and baloths and dragon broodmother brings out swarms of 3 3 and 4 4 tokens when not dealt with. broodmates proves to be a good card, hope theyll be reprinted on next core sets, they are just good to have in jund colored decks. and the hellkite is a very good game ender, removing oppositions existing creatures at play then attacking with a hefty 5 damage. my problem is with mill decks and discarder decks. discarder decks have totally many sorts of creature removals, (i.e gatekeeper of malakir, doom blade, and the discard spells! i hate 1st turn durress and he removes my harrow or ramp). mill decks sucks too. i played with one on a local tourney and he counterspells my harrow (so, it means i sacrifice also a land as i played the spell, instant land destroyer when harrow is countered). thats why for the sideboard, i placed grim discovery, and borderland ranger to replace my harrow and some creature removals. though i havent played it yet on a tourney. when i test play the deck with my other decks (discard deck). it plays quite well, though i cant yet tell if it will do well on tourneys, ill have to wait till next week end. so, some advice please for deck improvements. ill try to return comments on your decks. thanks.
