DESCRIPTION
The frame of this deck is a basic control package with sweepers, counter spells, and spot removal. the win condition of the deck is to mill the opponent. unlike other control decks which rely on life gain and card advantage to grind out a win,this deck mills the opponent in huge chunks to give the opponent must answer situations or else they will simply loose in 2-3 turns. this is executed by 3 weapons: jace memory adept, mind grind, and sands of delirium. the secret weapon of the mill strategy is to combine milling with undead alchemist. while it may be weak against spot removal, with 4 copies you will have plenty of opportunities to make one stick. every time an opponent mills a creature card, it is exiled by undead alchemist, and you get a 2 2 zombie token on the battlefield. this gives you an army of blockers against aggressive strategies, or an army of threats that can overwhelm control strategies. any time a zombie deals combat damage to an opponent, they mill cards equal to the damage dealt while undead alchemist is on the field. jace and sands of delirium will take chunks of cards out from an opponent, but your finisher will be mind grind. wait until you have the ability to cast mind grind for 6-7 on the x cost. this will almost always finish the game, if not completely cripple the opponent.
