RUG Devotion to Blue

so i first created this deck as soon as theros popped into standard. i saw the heavy devotion to blue mechanic as really powerful. alongside purphoros is makes a really heavy hit. by turn five i usually drop a master of waves for 10+ damage due to purphoros. nykthos is extremely good in here not just because of blue devotion, but with the nightveil specters and judges familiars you can filter mana to play w b cards exiled from nightveil specter. simic charms are added for their extreme usefulness in many situations. progenitor mimic although not essential wins games when it hits. i usually clone a master of waves, but i have cloned a nightveil specter, desecration demons, shadowborn demons,and even my opposing players gods. this deck hoses green aggro and rdw with ease. the tidebinder mages shut down kolanian hydras and chandras phoenix, ash zealot and boros reckoners. the simic charms allow you to bounce those pesky hasties and large beaters late game and even save your own cards from removal. simic charm also allows you to better race a rdw player.
