Exalted Control

this deck is still in its prototype phase. the theoretical idea behind it is typical control by limiting the number of possible attackers defenders, active permanents, and incoming direct damage to player and creatures. the stoic angels limit the usage of the opponents tap abilities and numbers of which are to be sent into combat. the battlegrace angels are used to give the exalted attacker life link in order to counteract direct damage dealt to the player. in addition the cradle of vitality is used to further enhance the chosen champion while a life link ability is being used. rafiq of the many not only adds to the exalted bonus, but he also gives the champion double strike for twice the damage and or healing not to mention possible +1 +1 tokens on said champion. noble hierarch is used to increase the speed of mana production and mana cylix is used to direct mana to the appropriate colours as needed. the sideboard consists of cards which could be helpful in some situations. adding extra control through cancel to cease casting, naturalize to remove annoying artifacts and enchantments, pacifism to remove big attackers potentially and path of exile to just get rid of them altogether. as an alternative to mana cylix, obelisk of bant can be used to effectively achieve the same goal by producing one of the 3 colours of the deck as opposed to simply converting the mana type, but this comes at an increased 2 in the mana cost for the obelisk. sigil blessing is used to speed up the overall damage output, but can also be used to effectively nullify low damage spells affecting one of more of your creatures and although may not save some of the weaker ones, it does help reduce the casualties. this card can also be used in a life link combo to increase damage dealt and health received not to mention if the cradle is out also more creature pumping and well i am sure the general idea is there. as stated at the top this deck is still in its prototype and will most likely be undergoing changes within the next day or so if not sooner.
