DESCRIPTION
Creature-heavy Merfolk deck that can become aggressive if not properly dealt with. Elite and bearer to make certain Merfolk bigger while the lords help everyone. Branchwalker and adept provide card draw. Speaker joins bearer, Branchwalker, and adept for creatures that you can afford to get eaten by removal. Pioneer provides a hexproof body if you need it and triggers elite twice. Kumena basically wins you the game if she can stay out as she provides unblockable, card draw, and buffs for your other creatures.
Side:
Trickster - Provides combat answers against tricky combat situations while flashing a blocker in.
Dive Down - protection from single-target removal.
Naturalize - Artifact and enchantment removal.
Spyglass - Way to deal with planeswalkers.
Negate - Answers against control and non-Creature threats.
Silent Gravestone - Good against graveyard strategies since God Pharaoh's Gift is gone.
Crushing Canopy - Good at removing enchantments but also keeps flyers in check since they're becoming more common-place now.
River's Rebuke - Tokens, lich's mastery, and heavily built board states tremble before this card!!
