DESCRIPTION
this deck is almost entirely resistant to getting single-bolted to oblivion in fact, most damage-based removal falters to the insane amount of 2-for-1s and great survivability of the creatures in this deck. the sideboard is a full conversion to pure aggro when you want to beat out the faster decks in the format. it is not an unlikely scenario to have 8+ power on the field turn 2, and turn 4 wins (mostly involving garruk or overwhelming stampede) are pretty standard fare here. enjoi :d
how to play it:
information is key here. yeah, its tempting to drop down a turn 1 treespeaker and hope to get a turn 2 myr superion out of it, but its also possible youre playing a deck thatll have no issues countering that play. thats where the arbor elves in the sideboard come into play, as well as the large amount of 4+ toughness creatures, many of which are easily cast on turn 2-3. aside from the treespeakers, its very hard for this deck to lose out significantly on tempo or card advantage. against cawblade, the 4 beast within in the sideboard are gold. eliminating a sword removes their card advantage engine. its not recommended you target jace with one of them, but its still a wonderful card. phyrexian revoker helps a bit on this front, but if this deck is functioning correctly, jace should be a 4 mana fog + draw.
