has certain troubles with control (doj?), but is usually able to outrun or counter. since doj is getting worse and worse in the main, new standard should be the place for elves to shine.
to explain the sidedeck, youd need to know my local metagame. obstinate baloths for megrim decks jund. mitotic slime and acidic slime are for control decks. (uw). mitotic is alsp good against destructive force decks (im faster that those anyway). bojuka bog is to fight fauna shaman and other high recursion decks, such as pyromancers ascension. naturalize is good removal against esper etherium (which 3-4 players play here) and pyro ascension.
