DESCRIPTION

this is an deck idea i came up with about 10 minutes after i read phyrexian obliterator. the deck works by mana-ramping to either playing an early quicksilver amulet or birthing pod, then using the excess single drop creatures to ramp up into the obliterator. strangleroot geist fills a perfect niche, and village bell-ringer allows you to untap your mana-producing creatures, letting you immediately re-tap to find obliterator. why is it that nobody has hit upon the idea of using quicksilver amulet to drop an obliterator as an instant blocker? i could use suggestions on the sideboard, as i havent given it much thought, although any feedback would be appreciated...
