DESCRIPTION
A little rampier, mainly relying on disruption, then playing huge threats way about the curve. more of a tapout style. takes a little more damage early, then cleans up a lot faster. wurmcoils are to mitigate that damage.
the disruption needs to be super efficient to allow for ramping while leaving it up, and for speed, being able to hold up disruption and play a fatty. hopefully it still has enough controlish elements to deal with twin, but i am liking the ramp because i cant see any aggro deck dealing with a t4 wurmcoil without an o-ring. a t4 grave titan will also be pretty tough, and this applies to valakut too. it can play a turn 4 titan, kill their titan and then bash their face in. this deck can also realisitcally cast lifes finale in a timely manner, and it can be very good against many decks. due to the lack of card draw, consecrated sphinx may be a better ramp target, but i cant include too many 6 drops, because this isnt a full ramp deck and it may get hands that are way too clunky. this is just a control deck that makes good use of ramp, like a rug deck.
spell pierce is meant to force the threat through counters, or to be able to play a threat and leave something up. It is done in the interest of speed, but they may just be better as something else.
