DESCRIPTION
This is a variation on the Voltron deck idea.
It started as a standard Doran Deck, featuring all the usual suspects, including at least three Infect creatures and a Grafted Exoskeleton.
It lost. A lot. But when it worked, it was because Doran was quick and you only have to do ten poison.
I like playing Voltron. Not everyone has answers to artifacts and enchantments right in their hand - usually it's spot-removal for critters. So you can quietly stack their duds and grease their skids - then drop Doran or Skithiryx and bust some heads.
This deck is deeper than that, of course. We have big critters, including an old favorite of mine, Copperhoof Vorrac, and a newcomer that has surprising synergy with the deck - Bane of Progress. We also have plenty of evasion, at least four Planeswalkers, some haste enhancers and of course, ramp.
(I am seriously considering removing my foil Boundless Realms and replacing it with Explosive Vegetation - when I reach seven mana, I usually have other things I would rather do than just double my mana).
Suggestions are welcome but do keep in mind the basic strategies of the deck. It is intended to kill one or two people in the early to mid-game. You pick off the most powerful players as soon as you can, then build up and squish the others as you go. At least, that is how it works for me.
