Mono black control. Lots of creature destruction, value, and card draw.
A Liliana emblem in this deck is surprisingly easy. Control the board and the game with the awesome amount of value and card draw the deck generates and you'll easily be able to protect your planeswalker.
The end game with the deck usually amounts to valuing and grinding your opponents down and then abusing Gray Merchant triggers with Strands of Night or a Liliana Emblem. If your opponents are on to your game plan, the deck can easily transition away from Liliana and play a beatdown game with big black creatures. You'll rarely face many blockers so chipping away with a 5/5 or 6/6 flyer isn't out of the question.
