DESCRIPTION

This build is based on my original budget build that came in at $48. Which was based on another users build from EDHREC. In this deck you will use Sydri as your commander and attempt to construct a win with artifacts. Step one will be to build your mana base by using land searches and Eggs to ramp/draw. Next you will want to get a defense set by casting some blockers or by casting Sydri to animate your artifacts to deter attackers such as Staff of Nin or Caltrops. Once you have a mana base and some defense the next step is to start constructing your win condition. There are a series of combinations to end the game and plenty of draw or fetches to gather the cards needed. An animated Aetherflux Reservoir is able to kill all of your opponents in one turn. Mindcrank/Duskmantle Guildmage or Flayer husk/Grinding Station/Salvaging Station can eliminate your opponents entire library. Volitic construct/Dreamstone Hedron or Peregrine Drake/Deadeye Navigator can be used to generate infinite mana that can be dumped into Debt to the Deathless or Staff of Nin to wipe out the table or Codex Shredder to eliminate all opponents libraries. Be sure to keep a counter in your hand so your combos don't get interrupted. If the eventual board wipe manages to take out your precious artifacts dig for Open the Vaults, salvaging station, or Sharuum to get back your essentials. It's not all fun and games. Once opponents catch onto Sydri and the power of animating your artifacts as blockers and board controllers she will catch some heat so if you are worried get out Lightning Greaves or Swiftfoot Boots to keep her safe. If all else fails cast Sphinx of the Steelwind, Sharuum the Hegemon, or Colossus of Akros to finish off your opponents with a downright beating. All in all this deck is really good at winning by turn 10. It requires a political stance with possibly some alliance with the most capable attacker in the game. It also requires restraint on when to cast your counters. It does not perform well in 1v1 games. Hope you enjoy!
